Brightworks is an independently state registered investment advisory firm. This means that we do not operate under the umbrella of a bank, insurance company, or larger investment firm. We have the freedom to utilize the best resources available to help clients achieve their financial goals and remain forward-thinking and committed to innovation. Our independence is a strength and gives us freedom to utilize technology, investment solutions, and partner with other professionals without having to stay in a confined group of providers due to our affiliation with a larger entity. We believe this model is a win for you as the client.
Fiduciary
We always put your interests first in the advisory relationship with an obligation to disclose any conflicts of interest up front while seeking to mitigate them where possible. We represent you and you only: full stop. The financial industry does not always have the best reputation. We’re out to change that with a commitment to what’s best for you and integrity in all that we do.
Comprehensive
Many with an existing financial advisor are getting an investment-focused experience without comprehensive planning. Each engagement starts with a comprehensive financial planning process including but not limited to: cash flow planning, risk management, retirement planning, investment planning, tax planning, estate planning, and coordination with other professionals on your team. We also have several options to engage with us beyond traditional assets under management (AUM) models and believe that all areas of financial planning work together to create the best outcome for clients to solve their problems. My background affords me a unique lens by which to look at your financial picture. As someone who comes from a previous career outside the financial industry, I understand what it is like to be on the other side of the table. Brightworks was designed to bring creativity to financial planning with multiple avenues of engagement and no cookie cutter solutions. We tailor each plan to your specific needs and pain points with an emphasis on sharing goal setting, education, and collaboration.
